Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen moved to December

26 Oct 2021

The 2021 editions of Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen will now take place from 8 – 10 December instead of their original early-November date. The fairs will remain at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center alongside CHIC and PH Value.

With the pandemic control situation in China still evolving at this time, Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd explained the decision to delay the fairs: “With the four shows due to take place shortly, the prudent decision at this stage is to postpone them given the evolving situation around pandemic containment measures. Following the successful A/W Shanghai editions held earlier this month, we are determined to still provide this platform for all our stakeholders which is more focused on the South China and Southeast Asia markets, as well as both the upcoming A/W and S/S seasons.”

Ms Wen continued: “We of course appreciate the understanding and ongoing support from participants of the fairs as we navigate these uncertain times. The feedback at the Shanghai editions about the domestic market’s strength and the value trade fairs provide for face-to-face encounters was very positive, so we will be doing our best to ensure a safe as well as high-quality business environment in December.”
